  • Women of Color Dance in Oakland
      Organized by NCLR & APIQWTC

    Saturday, February 19, 2005
    8PM - 2AM
    The Rex
827 Washington St., Oakland (near 12th Street BART)
    Cost: $10

APIQWTC is co-sponsoring this great party with NCLR for lesbians and trans folks of color and our allies in the East Bay! This is the third time NCLR has put on this party, and if you went last February or September, you know that it is a damn good time with great music and friendly people.

This is the first time that APIQWTC has gotten officially involved, and it's a great opportunity to advertise your business or do outreach about your organization. Event organizers are looking for donations of raffle prizes for restaurant dinners, services, and anything else of interest to the community.

This is a great opportunity to network with other lesbians and trans folks of color--people come out of the woodwork who you haven't seen in a while. If folks want to put together information about APIQWTC or any of its organizations, we are welcome to distribute or display it at the event.

For more information contact Willy Wilkinson, willywilkinson@earthlink.net

Fresh Meat 2005 artists include: Miguel Chernus-Goldstein, Ryka Aoki de la Cruz, Sean Dorsey and Mair Culbreth, Harlem Shake Burlesque, Thea Hillman and Johnnie Pratt, Dr. Jafer, Lipstick Conspiracy, Jaycub Perez and Katastrophe, Turner Schofield, Emcee Sile “Luster” Singleton, Sisterz of the Underground, The TransAMS Barbershop Quartet, The Viragos and more!
